Palestine records 51 new COVID-19 cases

Palestine confirmed 51 new coronavirus cases Thursday morning, June 25, bringing the total number of cases to 1,568, the Palestinian Minister of Health Mai Alkaila announced.

Of the new cases, 24 are residents of the southern West Bank district of Hebron, 10 others in Bethlehem district and one in Nablus.

The minister pointed out 34 of the new cases were confirmed after the evening update on Wednesday.

Alkaila added that 2,400 COVID-19 tests were conducted in the past 24-hours in different governorates.

The number of recovered cases in Palestine have reached 616, leaving a total of 947 active cases and five deaths.
